For over two decades, Greenheart
has provided quality products and customer service to the farming
industry in the form of vegetable, herb, flower and reclamation
transplants. Greenheart produces over one billion transplants
for the agriculture industry, four hundred thousand finished
poinsettias for the retail marketplace and over two million
rose liners to farms and nurseries throughout the United States
and Canada.
Our rose program was developed by Bill De Vor, a fourth generation
rose grower with a vision and passion for growing roses. Bill
envisioned growing bare root roses from rooted cuttings to subsidize
the traditional hardwood cuttings used by farmers in Arizona
and California. Greenheart began offering liners directly to
nurseries for application in outdoor container production, greenhouse
and potted plant production. With the acquisitions of Nor’East
Miniature Roses and Tiny Petals Nursery, Greenheart® has
become a key producer of miniature roses. Greenheart’s
vision includes an expansion of the rose market by developing
programs for nurseries that haven’t traditionally grown
roses. |
