Owens Valley Restoration Project

In 2002, Greenheart® grew and transplanted more than 30 million native Saltgrass plants, restoring 2,200 acres for the Owens Valley Restoration Project in California.

 

 

 


Lower Colorado River Habitat Restoration Project

[Lower Colorado River Project] Since 2006, Greenheart Farms has been working with the United States Bureau of Reclamation to provide and install native trees, shrubs, grasses, and marsh plants in support of the Lower Colorado River Multispecies Conservation Program (MSCP). The program seeks to restore riparian and marsh habitat along the Lower Colorado River to help support threatened and endangered species. http://www.lcrmscp.gov/index.html


Xerces Society Milkweed Production

The Xerces Society is a nonprofit organization that protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitat. Greenheart Farms is currently growing Spider Milkweed (Asclepias asperula) for the Xerces Society in support of their efforts to restore a breeding habitat for the Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus).
